Data Center Connection Failure with obniz Board
Hey obniz community,
I hope you're all doing well. I've been using obniz boards for various IoT projects, and I'm facing a rather puzzling issue related to data center connectivity. I thought this would be the best place to seek some advice or solutions from the community.
In my current project, I have an obniz board that collects sensor data from multiple devices deployed across different locations. The board then sends this data to a centralized data center for analysis and processing. The setup has been working flawlessly for a while, but recently I've been encountering persistent connection failures between the obniz board and the data center.
Symptoms:
Intermittent Disconnects: The obniz board periodically loses connection with the data center. Sometimes, it's able to reconnect after a short while, but other times, the connection remains lost until I manually reset the board.
Increased Latency: Even when the connection is established, I've noticed a significant increase in data transmission latency. This delay is impacting the real-time nature of the data analysis that's being performed on the data center side.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Network Checks: I've ensured that the network configurations on both ends are accurate and haven't been altered.
obniz Configuration: I've reviewed the obniz board's configuration settings, and they seem to be in line with the recommended settings for data center communication.
Data Center Analysis: The data center team has confirmed that there haven't been any major changes to their systems that could explain the sudden connection issues.
Community Assistance:
I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has encountered similar issues or has any insights into troubleshooting such a scenario. Could this be related to recent updates in the obniz system or maybe something in the network environment that I haven't considered?
If you've experienced something similar or have suggestions on potential solutions or further diagnostic steps, please do share. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,
Elive Joseph
